End of Dream

School holiday finally over.  Alhamdulillah for the real long rest duration first time ever felt and enjoyed ultimately in 12 years.  Now its time to be busy again.  Back to work in a new place, new environment, new friends.  And I wish all of you a Blessed Happy New Year of 2015

YANG PASTI

Semalam yang ditinggalkan
Esok masih dinanti
Bahagia atau derita dalam dakapan
Esok masih belum pasti
Namun doa ku susun qalam
Buatmu
Sahabat-sahabatku  yang telah pergi
Guru- guruku yang tak akan kembali
Saudara-saudaraku yang mendahului
Moga cahaya terang menemani
Dudukmu lapang pahala bersambung
Hati merindu tiadamu terasa kosong
Moga terdidik kenakalan jiwa
Kerna yang pasti
Kami kan menurutimu jua...

The Sigah

Facing towards the rising sun, this Sigah concrete structure symbolising the Kadazan as the largest ethnic group in Penampang. It is located at a round about linking roads between Kota Kinabalu - Papar - Tambunan - Donggongon town.

Sigah (or Sigar in Dusun) is a headgear worn mainly during the Kadazan/Dusun communities traditional celebration or other social functions. In the olden days, sight of one wearing the headgear was quite common but the newer generation seem to regard the wearing as just for traditional introduction to visitors. [ Uniquely Penampang ]

the more powerful the photo, the less it makes viewers think about photographic technique, and the more viewers tend to think of the subject matter, with technique forgotten.
