Just Basic

A friend commented on this photos and he said

"saya rasa, keynya di sini ialah rajin dan kreativiti, ging... kanapa lah berjela2 koleksi filter, plug-in dan barang2 sewaktu dengannya - kalu nda rajin dan kreatif inda da juga kejadian. kanapa lah basic filter saja, kalu rajin macam ko, tatap ada kejadian."

Well he said, eventhough editing photo with using only basic tools or filter, one can produce a good edited photo. Whats important is the creativity and willingness to practice more.

And I remember something I read from an article about photography in the internet. No matter what is your camera or how advanced your camera is, the most important is the one holding the camera.

The camera doesn't make a bit of difference. All of them can record what you are seeing. But, you have to SEE

You should read his wonderful article here at Gives me such an inspiration and a little bit "relief" since I only have the kit lens and prime lens. Can do a lot of things with that and there's a lot of things I planned to do havent done it yet....

And to Ramdan Nain's comment...thank you bro :)

A Mother's Love

This picture captured during Kaamatan festival at her house. She's waiting for all her sons and daughters to come and celebrate the festival together. She's alone in that small house on normal day and this day should be a merrier day for her because all her children are expected to come home.

Makes me thinking hard. This what may happened to me one day, only my husband and myself, if he is still there at that time...All the children will have their own family, need their own time and their own life to manage. So where are we as parents? Alone and lonely.... Moral of the story - dont put your hope too high but dont lost your hope at all......:)

Back to my grandmother here...(oh I did not mention that before didnt I?) . She is my grandmother on my mother's side - the only one grandparents left now. Because of some problems all her sons and some of her daughters cannot make it this time, may be next time in Christmas. Hopefully the house will be full of laughter, so noisy, scolding, shrieking here and there, and all kind of natural hazzard that comes from sons, daughters, grandchildren, great grandchildren and kids....
Quite tiring but gives some satisfaction and soft happiness inside our heart.

Dont ever lose your hope......ever....:)

Rise of The Senses

Listen to the silent waves crushing the sand. Feel the warmth of the light shone on the sea shore. Touch the softness of the tidal inside your heart. Appreciate the golden color of the sun closing the day. Taste the beauty salty world of beach of heaven...........
Can you feel it?

the more powerful the photo, the less it makes viewers think about photographic technique, and the more viewers tend to think of the subject matter, with technique forgotten.
