I just love painting...

Location : Pulau Manukan, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia

Dreams to paint but lack of expertise and skills. In photoshop however all dreams can be made true... even just a little bit....I'm happy...so far.. :D

Sunset Mania

Location : 2nd Beach, Tg. Aru Beach, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia

What a beautiful sunsets! I'm experimenting my D90 using all types of modes available on my camera. Adjusting shutter speed and aperture for each modes until I don't know what I'm doing. But have learned some more on shutter and aperture.

Learning by doing...thats what they say. However if you do not know what you're doing..then you are making mistakes...and mistakes...and mistakes.... :)

But then mistakes are bound to be corrected...am I right?

Release Tension...

OMG! What a stressfull day..!

Location : Queen Elizabeth Hospital car park, Sandakan, Sabah, Malaysia

The day I edited this picture I was so stressed, agitated, very tired, very bored, etc, etc...
Can't do anything else, can't finish any paperworks that I supposed to finish. Finally this is what I do to ease my stress.......what a day....

The Lights

Can the light heal me...?

Location : Bandar Nam Tung, Sandakan, Sabah, Malaysia

I really like this picture because of the remains of the boats. Looks so classic, antique, unique and mysterious. The unwanted, The left behind, The forgotten......But I never forget...

I Feel Dirty...

Location : Bandar Nam Tung, Sandakan, Sabah, Malaysia

Ignored by the world but never left the sea...

Location : Sinora, Sandakan, Sabah, Malaysia

At last found a boat's frame like this. A perfect moment for me. However I have to take many shots to finally get the one with good angle and composed well. Need more practice....
Some says practice make perfect...for me...practice filling up my hard disk....:D

Sense For A Soul

Location : Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia

I quote a comment of a friend on my photoworks below :

When I look at myself in this photograph, I notice the beauty of the talking fish. His mouth is open in exaltation. His spear is charging forward as a leading expression of nautical power. The buildings are edged in my mind like shadows on the ground in a 1989 magic flick near Japan. The colors let us know that life is beautiful and that surie has a lense for a soul.

Thanks Yosef....for those beautiful words....

Never Ending Fantasy

My Drawing Canvas

When I used to be a little girl long time ago, I love to watch my father's hand painted scenery drawing. And I also like to watched how he paint the picture like an artist. At that time I know deep inside I have a tendency towards art and painting.

However it was not developed properly since childhood and here I am now who do not know how to sketch properly. But now I can sketch my inspiration and fantasy using photos that I captured and edited using software. At painting that I want I still can create it....

the more powerful the photo, the less it makes viewers think about photographic technique, and the more viewers tend to think of the subject matter, with technique forgotten.
