Walk to Proceed, Wait to Die...

Location : Pulau Manukan, Sabah, Malaysia

I quote a friend comment on this photo :

Buluh tu menggambarkan bahawa semangat perjuangan tu masih ada walau hampir reput di mamah masa, manakala pulau tu cuma bayangan yang tidak pasti apa akan apa ada di sana. Laut sebahagian dari rintangan dan dugaan. Awan sebagai pemerhati yang datang dan pergi membawa cerita sendiri. Suasana mengisarkan perjuangan yang belum pasti, menunggu suatu keajaiban mengambil alih untuk meneruskan kehidupan. Kalau tiada...makan reput menyembah bumi..

Thanks Ree Bro...

Keep Smiling No Matter What Happens..

Location : Salut Seafood Restaurant Prawn Farm, Sepanggar, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia

My Ocean's Color Fantasy

Location : Pulau Manukan's Jetty, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia

I love the color gradient and combination of these colors. These colors really exist but our eyes cannot see it. I just make the color visible to our eyes to some extent and exaggerate a little bit ...:D

Of course beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder....

My Wall Photo

Location : Pulau Manukan, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah

Edited from HDR generated image. After clicking here and there trying out different filters layers after layers, this is what finally come out. I like it especially the canvas look on its surface.
The small picture inset is the original image out of camera.

HDR - still moving...

Location : Pulau Manukan, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah

HDR still from single image. However the aim of this photo editing trial is to tryout filters on HDR image. I want it to be close to canvas drawing but not entirely a drawing.

HDR - on the move....

Location : Pulau Manukan, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia

Trying out HDR from single picture, then create under and over exposure by myself. I think thats not quite correct. The image lack of HDR quality that I like...However, not bad. Will try another shoot with different exposures.

That's Life...

Location : Mile 3/4, Buli Sim-Sim Road, Sandakan, Sabah.

A story of life hardship. The new and strong one will left the old ones unwanted and unattended. Does anyone cared?

Life goes on.....forward....

Location : At a jetty beside Sandakan main post office, Sandakan, Sabah.

No matter what happened life goes on and on and never looking back. Whatever happened so be it and we never can turned back the clock. Appreciate whatever you have now and take chances while there still a chance.....or you'll regret it someday in the future....

a bitter lesson that can never be corrected....

The Beauty of God's Creation - Everythings Perfect

Location : At a jetty beside Sandakan main post office, Sandakan, Sabah.

Watching sunrise at this jetty alone hoping for a bright new day and nothing bad happened to me. Then I was accompanied by 3 army men just returned from duty at Behala Island. Actually quite a relief since a friend who supposed to be with me this morning had overslept....! :D

While driving looking for unique spots to capture, I was mesmerised by this huge building which look both antique and at the same time has a modern touch. Later I learned that this building belongs to a Yatch Club.

Also caught my attention is this big, handsome, awfully macho and tough vehicle parked near the building. OMG...I'm in love.....Could someone please tell me what is the type of this car? So awesome.....!

I never saw this symbol here before or am I just ignorant? How do they do it?

the more powerful the photo, the less it makes viewers think about photographic technique, and the more viewers tend to think of the subject matter, with technique forgotten.
